Vodafone and itel Mobiles have joined hands to give you feature phones that will cover the cost you pay for buying them. This news comes just a day after the Reliance JioPhone’s pre-bookings opened. Feature phones from itel start retailing at Rs 800 in India and the bundle offer with Vodafone will allow buyers to receive a cashback of Rs 900, which more than covers the cost. But there is a catch. The buyer will be given this cash back in the form of Rs 50 talk time over a period of 18 months. But only those users who recharge their devices with Rs 100 or more every month will be eligible for this cash back. “We believe in democratizing innovative technology while extending the maximum benefit to our customers in every way possible. In line with this objective, we are glad to announce that itel customers will now be entitled to avail unprecedented cash backs from Vodafone on purchasing itel feature phones,” said Sudhir Kumar, CEO, itel Mobile India in a press release.
