Import Photos from Devices
Let us take it on a step by step process. Step 1: Connect the device or the memory card/ storage device to your computer. Step 2: Open the Photos app and at any point, right-click to activate the options pane on the bottom of the screen. Click on Import. Note: The import option will not show if you are already viewing photos in full screen mode. Step 3: The moment you do that you will see a pop-up asking you to select a device (from the list of connected ones) to import photos from. Step 4: Now, select the photos you wish to import and hit the Import button. Wait for the while and the process with complete. The set that you import will be placed under a new folder under Pictures library. Cool Tip: The photos will be auto-selected for import. However, the ones that are already imported will not be selected. You can alter the selection before you begin.
